Experience wine & art in the holiday region Heidiland: discover the vineyards of the Bündner Herrschaft with Wine Tours Switzerland, visit the Pola winery in Maienfeld and enjoy an exclusive wine tasting. At lunchtime, we will spoil you in the bistro of the historic Maienfeld Castle. The tour ends with a guided tour of Bad RagARTz, Europe's largest outdoor sculpture exhibition.

Together we will explore the vineyards of Maienfeld Castle and the historic town of Maienfeld and listen to entertaining stories. The secret of winemaking is then revealed in the cellar of the Pola winery. Three exquisite wines await you, accompanied by local specialities. At lunchtime, we will spoil you in the bistro of the historic Maienfeld Castle. Enjoy an exquisite three-course menu, perfectly matched with two exquisite wines, mineral water and coffee. The castle ambience and the culinary delights will delight you. As a cultural finale, a guided tour of the Bad RagARTz, a unique outdoor sculpture exhibition, awaits you. Programme/route

Start at Maienfeld railway station followed by a guided tour with Wine Tours Switzerland (approx. 1 hour)
Guided tour and tasting at the Pola winery (approx. 1 hour)
Lunch in the bistro at Maienfeld Castle (approx. 2 hours)

Afterwards individual journey to Bad Ragaz by post bus from Maienfeld, Post at 14.04 (bus ticket not included in the price) or by car

How to get there

By public transport: We recommend travelling by public transport to Maienfeld railway station. For the Bad RagARTz guided tour, take the post bus after lunch at 14.04 from Maienfeld, Post to Bad Ragaz, Post.  
By car: Paid parking spaces are available at Maienfeld railway station and in the Zentrum car park in Bad Ragaz.

• The tour takes place in all weathers (please dress according to the weather)
• The choice of main course can be made directly on site. However, please let us know in advance if you have any allergies or intolerances

Starter

• Salad bowl with pickled vegetables and French dressing

Main course

• Castle meatloaf with cream sauce, mashed potatoes and market vegetables
  or
• Vegetable ragout with mashed potatoes

Dessert

• Cheescake brownie with sorbet
• The menu includes water, a glass of white and red wine and a coffee or espresso.

• From May to October 2024 on selected dates
• The tour can be organised for a minimum of 4 adults, max. 25 adults (final decision two days before the tour at 16.00)
• Online: up to 2 days before the tour
• By phone: last-minute enquiries are possible until the day before (opening hours), unless already cancelled and there are still places available
• Group bookings: Individual group tours on separate dates possible on request
