12 feature films, 8 animated films, 4 musicals and the book which has been translated into 50 languages: The novel character Heidi has conquered people's hearts by storm. And that worldwide. In Maienfeld you can find out how the girl from the mountains became so famous. On the guided tour through the original setting of the story, you will have the opportunity to dive into the legend of Heidi. Experience the world of 1880, where the bed was made of straw and food was prepared in a cast-iron kettle over an open fire. The Heidi village illustrates how nature, tradition and joy of life inspired Johanna Spyri to write her world bestseller «Heidi».

Notes

  • The tour takes place in any weather condition (please wear appropriate clothing)
  • The tour is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams
  • The tour is aimed at adults. However, children from the age of 8 are welcome

  • Guided tour on different dates from March - October
  • Guided tour for 4 people or more (final decision on the day before 16.00) 
  • Online and by phone: until 16.00 the day before
  • Individual guided tours for groups and school classes up to a maximum of 15 people on separate dates are possible on request:
