Our spacious theme rooms "Garden loge" (view towards Pfäfers and St. Margrethenberg as well as over the castle garden) and "Wartenstein" (view over the Rhine valley) captivate with their playful details and lots of space. The charm of the house can also be seen in the softly furnished rooms, which both are equipped with bath (shower and WC), Nespresso machine and free WLAN.

The boutique hotel sits next to the wild and romantic ruins of the eponymous castle, built in 1206, 250 meters above the Rhine Valley. From here, your gaze wanders over the well-known spa town of Bad Ragaz to a panorama of the Churfirsten, over Sargans, the Bündner Herrschaft at the foot of the Falknis massif to Prättigau.

At the entrance to the Taminatal, located at 743 meters above sea level, not only the castle, but also the highest vineyard along the Rhine, through which the famous old Roman trade route "Porta Romana" makes its way to Pfäfers. An ideal starting point for hikes in the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona.
