  • Bus ride Bad Ragaz - Valens
  • Exciting facts about the Bad RagARTz and the sculptures in Valens
  • Hike from Valens to the Tamina Gorge and the Altes Bad Pfäfers  (Good shoes are required for the short but steep hike down to the Old Bath Pfäfers)

  • Entrance and tour of the Tamina Gorge

While the large works at Bad RagARTz weigh an impressive 2,500 tonnes in total, the focus in the Tamina Valley is on details. The tour includes two stops. The art walk through Valens shows sculptures by artists Manfred Martin, Adrian Künzi and Franziska John. The next stop is the Altes Bad Pfäfers, where miniature sculptures are presented in a big way at the Festival of Miniature Sculptures. The delicate works fit ideally into the historic walls of the baroque baths, which are located in the middle of nature. Right next to it, the water rushes through the Tamina Gorge - just as artful in its unique way. The post bus takes you from Bad Ragaz to Valens. After the short guided tour in Valens, the half-hour hike to the Altes Bad Pfäfers follows. You can enjoy the full nature experience when you finish the round tour on foot: A wide gravel road leads alongside the River Tamina down to Bad Ragaz.
